The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program will return to Rock Hill Galleria again in 2012 to help local taxpayers understand and meet their tax responsibilities.

Free of charge, volunteers will electronically file (e-file) federal and state income tax returns.  It is fast, accurate, secure, and simple.  The estimated turn-around time for a direct-deposited refund is 7 days.

Volunteers are I.R.S. certified and trained by the SC & NC Dept. of Revenue.  They will be positioned in Center Court on Saturday, February 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 10am - 12:30pm.

What to Bring:  Current year's tax package and or label.  All forms W-2 and 1099's.  Information for other income.  Information for all deductions/credits.  A copy of last year's tax return.  Proof of account for direct deposit or refund (e.g., voided check).  Social Security or Individual Taxpayer Identification cards for you, your spouse, and/or dependents.  Proof of identification for yourself and/or spouse.
